The following night after experiencing ignitions issues in hot-laps, the crew was unable to get the problem solved for qualifying sending him to the tail of his heat. Logging an 8th place finish, Morgan had one final shot at the feature with a B-Main appearance. Needing to finish 2nd or better to make the show, Bagley charged through the field six positions but came short of a transfer spot by one position.

Returning to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) on Friday after the weather cancelled both Wednesday and Thursday’s events, Morgan was one of 48 Super Late Models signed in for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned contest. Coming one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place finish, Morgan went on to secure his spot into the feature with a 2nd place finish in his B-Main behind Rodney Sanders. Passing five cars in the fog-shortened A-Main, Bagley registered a 17th place finish in the 23-lapper.

Starting in 5th in his heat on Saturday evening, Morgan came up one spot short again of a transfer spot in his heat with a 5th place finish. Needing to finish 2nd or better in his B-Main to make the $10,000-to-win finale, Bagley edged his way with a runner-up finish behind Darrell Lanigan. Rolling off 19th for the 40-lap affair, Morgan Bagley slipped back to a 22nd place outing.
