September 22, 2018 - Bagley Salvages 15th Place Finish in Cotton Pickin' 100 at Magnolia Motor Speedway
On Friday evening Morgan Bagley was one of 57 Super Late Models signed in at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the two-day Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100. Holding his spot in his 10-lap heat race, Morgan recorded 7th place finish transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Sending the Top 2 into the show, Bagley came up one spot short with a 3rd place finish.

Returning on Saturday night for the $12,000 top prize, Bagley timed in 14th fastest in his qualifying group before placing 5th in his heat race. Starting in 3rd in his B-Main, Morgan scored a runner-up finish behind Dane Dacus locking his spot into the finale. Rolling off 24th, Bagley had worked his way up to 12th by lap 19 and began battling for a Top 10 spot when he started to lose power steering. After trying to muscle it out for the remaining laps, Morgan Bagley was an early retiree from the 70-lapper while being credited with a 15th place outing. (Mitchell Jenkins photo)

September 15, 2018 - Morgan Bagley Attends Knoxville Nationals
Thursday night found Morgan Bagley in action at Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) kicking off the 15th annual Knoxville Nationals. Drawing 57 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries for the three-day event, Morgan recorded a 6th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Starting on the tail, Bagley fell short of a transfer spot into the opening night feature with a 20th place outing.

Returning on Friday night for another $7,000-to-win preliminary feature, Bagley came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place finish giving him one more shot at the feature with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place in the Top 6, Morgan recorded a 17th place outing bringing an early end to his night.

On Saturday night rolling off 3rd in his C-Main, Morgan notched a 2nd place finish behind Scott James transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the $40,000-to-win finale. Sending the Top 6 into the show, Bagley passed nine cars to place 12th but fell short of a transfer spot.
