Morgan Bagley
Top 5 finish in Larry Phillips Memorial at West Plains
On Friday afternoon Morgan Bagley made the trek to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.) to compete in a field of 26 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) entries. After coming in second in his heat race behind Spencer Hughes, Bagley was slated to start the $3,000-to-win A-Main in sixth before persistent rain rolled in and postponed the 40-lap feature to September 3rd.
The following night at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.) for the Larry Phillips Memorial, Morgan posted a third place finish in his heat race, which positioned him 12th on the starting grid for the main event. With $5,075 on the line, Bagley advanced through the field seven spots to register a fifth place finish behind Payton Looney, Mason Oberkramer, Dane Dacus, and B.J. Robinson.
