Memorial Day Weekend Doubleheader Brings Bagley to West Plains

After Mother Nature shifted Friday night’s program to Sunday, Morgan Bagley invaded Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.) on Saturday night for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) doubleheader. With 49 cars on hand for the Missouri Hardwoods Back to the Future 50, Bagley followed up a seventh place finish in his heat with a 10th place outing in his B-Main. Receiving a provisional into the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Morgan gained four spots in the 50-lap affair to register a 20th place finish.

On Sunday for the West Plains Resaw Back to Business 30, Morgan came in ninth fastest in his group before placing fifth in his heat. Streaking to a 10-lap consolation victory, Bagley locked into the 18th-starting position for the finale. With Karl Chevrolet boosting the purse to $9,000, Morgan Bagley dropped two spots to score a 20th place outing.
