Pair of Top-10 finishes in Duel in the Desert

Trekking north to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Las Vegas, Nev.), Morgan Bagley was one of 32 Late Models entered on Friday afternoon to kick off the Duel in the Desert. Following the third-fastest qualifying time in his group, Morgan posted a third-place finish in his heat, which positioned him ninth on the starting grid for the preliminary feature. With $10,000 on the line, Bagley held his spot to register a ninth-place finish.

On Saturday, Bagley edged his way into the $50,000-to-win finale with the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat race. Starting in 15th, Morgan marched through the field seven positions in the 77-lapper to finish eighth.
