Top-10 finish in Clash at the Mag finale

Friday night saw Morgan Bagley return with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) for the doubleheader weekend. (Chris McDill photo)

Drawing 37 cars for the 14th annual Clash at the Mag, Bagley followed up a fifth-place finish in his heat with a runner-up finish in his B-Main. With $5,000 on the line in the feature, Morgan passed five cars in the 30-lapper to finish 15th.

On Saturday, Morgan edged his way into the $12,000-to-win finale with the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat. Starting in 13th, Bagley inched forward four spots in the 50-lap affair to register a ninth-place finish.

Morgan is currently third in the latest CCSDS point standings.
