Morgan Bagley finishes 2nd and 6th with CCSDS at Batesville
Morgan Bagley followed the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) to Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) on Friday and Saturday, where the driver from Longview, Texas, turned in a pair of top-10 finishes.
On Friday, Bagley won his heat race in his Billy Bob’s Repair & Tire No. 14M machine, putting him on pole for the night’s 30-lap, $3,000-to-win feature on the 3/8-mile oval. He stayed in the top-four for the duration of the race, ultimately coming home in the second spot behind B.J. Robinson. Kyle Beard, Brian Rickman and Billy Moyer Sr. rounded out the top-five.
On Saturday, Bagley transferred to the A-Main via a fifth-place finish in his heat and a second in his B-Feature. During the 68-lap main event paying $12,000 to win, Bagley moved forward 12 positions to score a sixth-place result, his second top-10 in as many nights.
Friday’s runner-up finish was Bagley’s best of the season and he has now brought home top-10 finishes in his last four A-Main starts.
