Bagley bags 8th-place COMP Cams result at Arrowhead Speedway
Texas driver Morgan Bagley took on the new Arrowhead Speedway in Colcord, Oklahoma, with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) on Friday and scored a top-10 finish.
The P&W Iron Works No. 14M of “Mo Bags” was one of 22 Dirt Late Models entered for the inaugural Fujita 50 at the 1/3-mile clay oval. The driver from Longview in the Lonestar State finished third in his heat race, positioning him ninth on the grid for the 40-lap, $5,000-to-win feature event.
He advanced one position on the tacky surface to grab an eighth-place result in a race that ran caution-free. He fell to fifth in the point standings after the Arrowhead stop, but sits just two markers out of fourth place.
After rain plagued the Arrowhead event, Saturday’s $5,000-to-win CCSDS race at Tri-State Speedway (Pocola, Oklahoma) was rained out.
