Morgan Bagley does double duty at Boothill Speedway
On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Morgan Bagley climbed aboard both his No. 14M Crate Late Model and No. 87 USRA Modified to participate in a pair of divisions at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana) during “The Grandaddy" Ray Ingalls Memorial.
An eighth-place finish in his Crate Late Model heat relegated “Mo Bags” to a starting spot deep in the 18-car field for the 20-lap, $1,500-to-win A-Main. He mounted an impressive charge on the quarter-mile, semi-banked clay oval and finished in the eighth spot after starting 16th.
Meanwhile, in the 19-car Modified portion of the program, Bagley drove to a second-place result in his heat and started the 20-lap, $1,000-to-win main event from the sixth spot. However, he fell five positions in the race and came home 11th.
Bagley has now wrapped up his 2023 campaign, a season ini which he recorded nine top-fives and 32 top-10s.
