Mo Bags notches top-10 finishes in Oklahoma and Missouri
The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) rolled on with two $5,000-to-win programs over the weekend. Morgan Bagley turned in solid results in each, finishing no worse than seventh.
First up, 40 CCSDS Super Late Model teams traveled to the 1/3-mile Arrowhead Speedway in Colcord, Oklahoma, for the Triple Threat on Friday. Bagley grabbed a second-place result in his heat race and took the green flag from the seventh spot in the 35-lap main event. He worked his way up to second, but relinquished the position to Tony Jackson Jr. on a restart with three laps to go. Bagley ultimately finished third behind Logan Martin and Jackson. Kyle Beard came home fourth and BJ Robinson took fifth in the final rundown.
On Saturday, Bagley and Team 14 traveled to Missouri’s Springfield Raceway for March Madness. The event brought 35 CCSDS competitors to the quarter-mile track. For the second consecutive night, Bagley finished second in his heat and began the feature from the seventh spot. He recorded a seventh-place finish in the 40-lap A-Main.
Bagley currently sits fourth in CCSDS points with the first two weekends of the 2024 schedule in the books.
