Mo Bags joins World of Outlaws in Louisiana and Texas
On the last weekend in September, Texas native Morgan Bagley raced close to home in a pair of $15,000-to-win World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model Series events.
The Outlaws slate kicked off on Friday with the Bayou Classic at Greenwood, Louisiana's Boothill Speedway, where Bagley’s Precision Trailers No. 14M Super Late Model was among 42 entries in the pit area. After failing to move into the feature via his heat race, Bagley finished fifth in his Last Chance Showdown on the quarter-mile oval. As a result, his evening ended before the 50-lap A-Main.
The next night, 32 World of Outlaws Late Model teams descended on Rocket Raceway Park in Petty, Texas, for the Texas Torpedo 50 at the 1/3-mile track. Bagley was once again relegated to a Last Chance Showdown after his heat. However, this time he took the checkered flag in the consolation race to move into the main event. He started 18th in the 50-laper and picked up five spots to finish 13th.
